And further, I like to read alongside others. It is a core goal of Her Music Academia to make sure that reading, learning, and communities of inquiry are as accessible and affirming as possible. In the HMA Book Club, our community reads books and articles about music together. By discussing the role of music making in community, we explore musical traditions, wrestle with complex ideas, and produce knowledge through our discussions.
